Graham: on your website it says ns27.redbackinternet.net & ns28.redbackinternet.net.
Alastair M: You have domain registered with us but not for the webhosting account. If you wish to keep only domain registration with us then you need to provide us the DNS of your existing server where your website is hosted

Alastair M: and DNS will start propagating from your existing hosting server
Graham: I am confused - I have a blog with the well online blog site, "Blogspot" what do you want me to do?

Graham: I dont know where that is available - It is hosted by the online "blogspot"

Alastair M: you have to update the DNS of your domain to the server from which it is working

Graham: so are you telling me that this domain name will only be of any use if I purchase a a webhosting package from you?

Alastair M: you can use only domain registration if you already have hosting package with someone else
Alastair M: otherwise you have to purchase hosting package
Graham: previously, from a different supplier, I have bought a domain name and via the control panel pointed it to a blog at blogspot - easy peasy!
Alastair M: Do you wish to point A record of your domain to Blogspot website
Graham: What do you mean "a record"?
Alastair M: An A (address) record is a DNS record that can be used to point your domain name and host names to a static IP address.
Graham: what I want is that when someone types "www.xxxxxx.co.uk" they are directed to "www.xxxxxx.blogspot.com"
Alastair M: Do you have control to manage that website
Graham: Yes
Alastair M: DNS has been updated
Alastair M: As it will take 12-24 hours to propagate
