It's quite simple, for me.

In 1960, I helped my dad fix the last bomb damage to our house. I later realised that my family had been damaged too.  The war was made possible by the growth of nationalism; people being persuaded that their nation, their people, were better than some other people.
All my life, I have watched nationalism bubbling away, in the right of the Tory party, BNP, the Balkans, Germany, France & elsewhere, & now the growth of UKIP.
Churchill, not remembered for his pacifism said, "It's better to jaw jaw than war war. I will vote to, go forward, not back, to jaw jaw & to #Remain.
